With over 5 years experience in floristry I now specialise in events rather than individual arrangements although larger "one-offs" can always be catered for. Flowers arrangements can add an ambiance to many an event. Most people would associate flowers with a wedding for instance but the possibilities for including flowers at an event are endless.

Flowers create an atmosphere in the home as well as at a function. That special dinner party or family celebration can be completely transformed with the addition of a planned floral setting. Imagine your home at Christmas festively decorated or your special party set amongst soft pastel flowers. Maybe you have arranged to hold a party in a marquee and want to create a softer, more inviting atmosphere.

Of course there are times when the mood has to be a little more sombre. Bereavement affects all of us at one time or another and for many people flowers, at home or in a place of worship, say more than words alone. For most people, this is a time when allowing a florist to provide a discreet and professional service takes away a little of the worry at a difficult time. I pride myself in offering a reliable and sympathetic approach to this facet of my work.

For some people the idea of being surrounded by fresh flowers is not an option. Sufferers of hay fever for example. This need not be a problem, however, as I am fully conversant with silk flower and dried flower arrangements.
